CENTENARY MASS & VISIT OF THE PAPAL NUNCIO
I thank all who were able to attend the mass on Saturday 18th October in the cathedral. This event took a lot of planning, and I am very grateful to Father John Millar and the cathedral team, along with Fr John Paul Evans, diocesan Master of Ceremonies. The Nuncio’s visit encompassed time at Lancaster University, the Cathedral, Fernyhalgh Shrine, Saint Winefride’s House, Fleetwood Food Pantry and Cardinal Allen High School. Again, I thank all those who made these visits successful. Next time the nuncio comes, I have promised him a trip to the more northerly parts of the diocese. We are also grateful for his eminence’s time with us.
